The CipherLab 711 Portable Data Collection unit is available in CCD and Laser. Light weight, low power consumption, 1Mb flash memory, 1 & 2Mb SRAM and comes with Windows based Application Generator Software. It has a built in laser barcode reader that can read codes up to 60cm away or CCD. It's easy to use, easy to program, efficient to use and comes with a low price. Serial and Keybard cables are available. AAA Size Batteries - 100 Operating hours. Its compact and light enough to fit in your pocket. CipherLab designed it to be energy efficient, the 711 runs up to 100 hours on standard AAA batteries (it comes with rechargeable batteries also). It has a 4 line, 16 character back-lit display, and has a chioce of 1MB or 2MB of memory - practical for most data collection tasks. It is equipped with Infra Red communications which eliminates the need for cables and makes the unit more reliable.
