An MCL-Client is the mandatory program required on a device to make it MCL Enabled Any application created by the MCL Designer should be downloaded onto an MCL enabled device. For a device to be MCL enabled the correct MCL Client software must first be installed. The purpose of the MCL Client is to accept and interpret the code generated by the MCL-Designer tool. Therefore it is important to download the correct client software onto the correct device type. It is this specific nature of the client software that allows Designer generated code to be ported so easily from one device to another and that which allows the installer to ignore the differing operating systems of his installed estate of devices.
